Question 63407: I'm trying to help my 8th grade son with homework equations and I'm totally confused (as he is). I'm sure if you show me step by step I'll be able to figure out some of the other problems.
Problem 1: 7m + 4 - 15m = 36
I've tried the following steps:
7m +4 - 4 - 15m = 36 - 4
7m - 15m = 32 (and I'm super lost)
Problem 2: (2y + 5)- (y + 3) + (7y - 3y) = 17
Problem 3: 2 [k + 3 (k - 1)] = 18
Problem 4: -4.5 = 5n - n - n
