Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1st: y=5x-2
2nd: 4x+3y=13
--------------
Substitute 1st into 2nd to get:
4x+3(5x-2)=13
4x+15x-6=13
19x=19
x=1
--------
Substitute into 1st to solve for y, as follows:
y=5(1)-2=3
---------
Solution:
x=1; y=3
