Using the 5 step solution find the measure of an angle whose supplement is 7 times its complement.

 Step 1: Let x = the number of degrees in the angle

 Step 2: 90°-x = the number of degrees in its complement

 Step 3: 180°-x =  the number of degrees in its supplement

 180°-x = 7(90°-x)

    6x = 450

     x = 75°
