Let width = w so length = 4w-6
The perimeter is found by adding each side of the rectangle.
Perimeter = width + width + length + length
38 = w + w + 4w - 6 + 4w - 6
38 = 10w - 12 Add 12 to each side
50 = 10w so the width will be 5 feet and the length 4*5-6=14 feet
