Question 625706: Solve for x: x+3/5 = X-4/4
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+3)/5 = (x-4)/4
4(x+3) = 5(x-4)
4x+12 = 5x-20
4x-5x = -20-12
-x = -32
x = -32/(-1)
x = 32
So the solution is x = 32
