Hi,
The Alexanders bought 9 movie tickets,Adult and Child's tickets for a total cost of $30.00.
Each child's ticket costs $2 and each adult's ticket costs $4.
How many child's tickets did the Alexanders buy?
$4x + $2(9-x) = $30
2x = 12
x = 6, the number of adult tickets. 3 child's tickets
