-3x + 4y = 1
-6x + 6y = -3

multiplying the 1st equation by 2 (this will make the x-coefficients equal so the terms can be eliminated by subtracting)
___ -6x + 8y = 2

subtracting the 2nd equation ___ 2y = 5

solve for y, then substitute back to find x
