how do you solve a problem that is 21 -Z divided by 3 = 5
assume the problem is
= 5
Multiply both sides by 3, gets rid of the denominator
21 - z = 3(5)
21 - z = 15
Subtract 21 from both sides
-z = 15 - 21
-z = -6
z = +6
