4 + 4x = (x + 20) /2
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4 + 4x = (x + 20)/2
2(4 + 4x) = x + 20
8 + 8x = x + 20
8x = x + 20-8
8x-x = 20-8
7x = 12
x = 12/7
So the answer is x = 12/7
