Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x-7y=70

write in slope intercept form
7y= 5x-70
/7
y=(5/7)x -10
The y intercept = -10 (0,-10)
plug y = 0 to get the x intercept
0= (5/7)x -10
(5/7)x= 10
x= 7*10/5
x= 14 The x intercept
(14,0)
