Solve the equation 6(w-4)+18=30.
6(w)+6(-4)+18=30
6w-24+18=30
6w-6=30
6w-6+6=30+6
6w+0=36
6w=36
6w/6=36/6

:
Check by substistuting 6 in for w and seeing if both sides of the equation equal.
6(6-4)+18=30
6(2)+18=30
12+18=30
30=30 We're right!!!
Happy Calculating!!!
