so i can describe the diagram for this ques as follows:
a pole (horizontal line ab = 7.6m) .draw a vertical line from end of the hori.line (shadow ,ac= 18.2 m) then join bc , this will be our hypotnuse.
where angle cba is the angle of elevation what you need to find out.
you know the opposite side and adjacent side
so tan thita = opp/adj.
=7.6/18.2
=.4
solving for thita(angle) = 23 deg (rounding to nearest tenth)
