Determine if the following sets are closed under multiplication:
a. {0}
0*0 = 0 ; closed under multiplication
--------------------
b. {1, 3, 5, 7, 9,...}
The product of any 2 odd numbers is an odd number: true
So closed under multiplication.
---------------------
c. {0, 1, 2}
0*0 or 1 or 2 is 0
1*0 = 0 ; 1*1 = 1 ; but 2*2 = 4
Not closed under multiplication.
