Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6/7y-1/3=1/5
Multiply by 7*3*5 to eliminate fractions.
90y - 35 = 21
Add 35
90y = 56
Divide by 90
y = 56/90
y = 28/45

i dont like fractions so first thing i do is multiply the denominators together
7y * 3 * 5 = 105y
now multiply everything by 105y
add 35y to both sides
divide by 56
reduce by 2
