You can put this solution on YOUR website! $1,000 is the initial payment at t=0 (the "intercept"). The $5/wk is a rate (or slope) of the giving equation. Thus, y=5x+1000. For future reference, you might want to donate directly next time, rather than through the United Nations. ;)
