3(x-5) +1 = 1/4(2x -8)

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(x-5) +1 = 1/4(2x -8)

12(x-5) +4 = 1(2x -8)

12x-60+4=2x-8

12x-56=2x-8

12x=2x-8+56

12x-2x=-8+56

10x=-8+56

10x=48

x=48/10

x=24/5
