Question 553431: What are the steps to solving an equation with variables on both sides?
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The basic step is bring all the variables on the left side and the constants on the other side of the equation.
When you change the sides of the variables or constants from one side of the equation to the other you just have to cahnge the sign.
example:
3x+5y +8 = 2x -6y+10
Bring the variables to the left side and constants to the right side
3x-2x+6y=10-8
