When x number of units are sold, the price of each unit (in dollars) is given by p = -x/2 + 75. I need to find the unit price when the following quantities are sold: 2, 7
Substitute 2 in for x and you get:
p=$74.00
:
Substitute 7 in for x and you get:
If you don't like adding fractions, obliterate them by multiplying everything by the LCD, 2.
p=$71.50
