Question 536070: Hello, I have a test tomorrow, and am stuck on one of the revision questions:
The tangent to the curve y=f(x) at the point (x,y) has an x-intercept of x=3. If the curve has a y intercept of 2, find f(x).
This is in the chapter of Intergration, so I have to use that method.
Thank you!

There is not enough information to find f(x). All we know is that the tangent line to some point on f(x) is y = (-2/3)x + 2 (since the slope is -2/3).
