Question 529887: I have a word problem that I am suppose to define variable,provide equation and solve. " The Visogoths executed only of the number the Vandals executed. If the Visogoths executed 2202, how many did the Vandals execute?" I divided 2202 by 3 and took that answer (734) times 8 and came up with 5872 for the answer. I do not know how to put all that into a proper equation. Can you help?

I think you are wrong about times 8, after you divide it by 3 you need to multiply it by 11.
