Sum of two numbers is 60. The bigger number is 4 times the smaller one. Find The number

Let x = smaller number
then from "bigger number is 4 times the smaller one" we have
4x = bigger number
.
Because "Sum of two numbers is 60" we have
x + 4x = 60
5x = 60
x = 12 (smaller number)
.
Bigger number:
4x = 4(12) = 48
