or you didn't follow the order of operations:

1. Innermost parentheses.
2. Exponents.
3. Multiplications and divisions, whichever comes first going left to right.
4. Additions and subtractions going left to right.

Note:  If you used a non-scientific calculator and punched it in
left to right it will give you the wrong answer.  Only scientific
calculators follow the correct order of operations.  Cheap
calculators and calculators on cell phones are not scientific.

You must do both multiplications first before the subtraction:

Do the multiplication 26×37 first and get 962.
Then you replace the 26×37 by 962 and copy the rest over:

  962-15×6

Do the multiplication 15×6 and get 90.
Then you replace the 15×6 by 90 and copy the rest over:
