Question 510697: Equation:
P=11/2n+22 (11/2n is a fraction)
Here is what I tried:
P=11/2n+22
P-22=11/2n subtract 22 from both sides
P/11 -2=2n multiply both sides by 1/11
P/22-1=n multiply both sides by 1/2
Is this correct? Thank you for the help.

Let's see!
I assume that you want to solve for n! Subtract 22 from both sides.
Multiply both sides by 2n.
Distribute the 2 on the left side.
Finally, divide both sides by (2P-44).
