Question 502791: Solve
Thanks for the help.

Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2sin^2(x)+ 5sin( x )-3 = 0
(2sinx-1)(sinx+3)=0
(sinx+3)=0
sinx=-3 (reject, -1 ≤ sinx ≤ 1)
2sinx-1=0
sin x=1/2
x=π/6 (for x between 0 and π/2)
