To solve for x and y you will need to use substitution
First, solve for y in the first problem by adding 4 to both sides
-4+y=-19
y=4-19
y=-15
since y=-15, we can just substitute it in for y in the second equation
3x-(-15)=15
3x+15=15
3x=0
x=0
so, y=-15 and x=0 (0,-15)
To double check, just substitute the nubers in for the variables!
