find the slope of the line 5x-7y=28 by putting it into slope-intercept form
y = mx + b where m is the slope.

That means solve for y
5x-7y=28
7y = 5x - 28
y = (5/7)x - 4
slope m = 5/7
All lines parallel have the same slope = 5/7
