If 2n + 1 is an odd integer, then the next consecutive odd integer will be 2n + 3.

There's no formula.
More than one is needed to be consecutive, consecutive means immediately following.
5 is the consecutive odd integer after 3.
21 follows 19, etc.
1,3,5,7,9,11 etc are consecutive odd integers.
