first we have to get rid of the sq root sign so you square it.
%28sqrt%283x%2B10%29%29%5E2=5-2x
which cancels the sqrt and leaves us with
3x%2B10=5-2x
now put like terms togeather
5x=-5
now divide by 5
x=-5%2F5
answer: x=-1
