Fisrt we want to isolate the sqrt so we move the -9 to the other side of the equal sign which gives us..
sqrt%283x-3%29=9
Now we have to eliminate the sqrt by squaring it which gives us..
%28sqrt%283x-3%29%29%5E2=%289%29%5E2
Since the sqrt is now removed your equation will look like this..
3x-3=81
So we proceed to combining like terms
3x=81
x=81%2F3
Answer: x= 27
