Question 458028: 6x^3=3x-7x^2
Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can factor out x so one solution is x=0
6x^3+7x^2-3x=0
x*(6x^2+7x-3)=0
you want factors of -18 which add up to 7
9 and -2
6x^2-2x+9x-3=0
2x*(3x-1)+3*(3x-1)=0
(2x+3)*(3x-1)=0
x=-3/2
x=1/3
and x=0
