Question 45550: Give all possible rational zeros for the following polynomial.
p(x)= x^3-6x^2+3x-24

Answer by Nate(3500)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a = factors of constant
b = factors of leading coefficient
Possible Rational Zeros : +- a/b
a = 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24
b = 1
Possible Rational Zeros : +-1,+-2,+-3,+-4,+-6,+-8,+-12,+-24
Pos: 3 1
Neg: 0 0
Imag:0 2
There is a definitly one positive root (there are absolutely no negatives): 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24
