You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3^x=2 and you need to solve for x.
;
Using common logs
log(3^x) = log(2)
:
the log equiv of exponents
x*log(3) = log(2)
x = log%282%29%2FLog%283%29
:
using a calc
x = .63093, (you will get the same solution using natural logs)
;
:
Check this on calc: enter 3^.63093, results: 2.000
