Question 447925: List the factors in each expression: (a + b)12
I submitted my answer, and the teacher told me I was wrong each time.
This was one of my answers:
1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
1 x 12
2 x 6
3 x 4
She told me this:
"The factors for this problem would be the values that are being multiplied together. For example, 9x(1+b) would have the factors 9, x, and (1+b). Can you see how this would change your answer?"
What's the right answer, because I don't get it?
