Question 44730: Can someone explain to me how to find the slope and y-intercept when you only have the value for x. Like x=5.
I think that the slope would be undefined because this would be a vertical line, but would the y intercept be none?
Answer by adamchapman(301) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You are right.
The line x=5 actually has a slope of infinity by definition. The y intercept does not exist, since the line neverr crosses the y-axis.
