You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve using the square root property:
(x + 3)2 = 49
First take the sqrt of both sides
sqrt(x+3)^2 = sqrt(49) then
(x+3)= +-7 That is to say remember that the (-7)^2 =49 as well
x+3 = 7 and x+3=-7 you have two quick and easy equations to solve
x=4 and x=-10 are the two answers to this problem
