The book answer maybe wrong!
Since parallel lines have the same steepness, their slopes (m) must be equal; also, lines with THE SAME SLOPE ARE PARALLEL.
C and D have the same slope; m=2
A and B are perpendicular. A perpendicular lines have a slope that is the negative reciprocal of 5/3, which is -3/5.
