Question 442713: 3x+3y=0
5x+5y=4
How to solve and is this consistent or inconsistent equation

Answer by swincher4391(1107)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x + 3y = 0
3x = -3y
x = -y
5x -5x = 4
0 = 4
This cannot happen, so the system is inconsistent.
