or 2x%5E2+-+6x+=+0
or 2x%28x+-+3%29+=+0
or x%28x+-+3%29+=+0

As the product of 2 quantities = 0, so at least one of them = 0.
So, either x = 0 or (x - 3) = 0 i.e. either x = 0 or x = 3.

Reqd. solution is x = 0 or 3.
