Let x and (x+6) represent the number of 18-wheel trucks and cars respectively
Question states*** 134 'wheels' in parking lot altogether
18x + 4(x+6) = 134
Solving for x
22x = 110
x = 5, number of trucks. there were 11 cars (5+6)

5*18 + 4*11 = 90 + 44 = 134 wheels
