Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
factor Xsquared + 35x +3 = 77
---------------
x^2+35x-74 = 0
---
x^2+37x-2x-74 = 0
---
x(x+37)-2(x+37) = 0
---
(x+37)(x-2) = 0
x = 2 or x = -37
