Question 428951: How do I solve x-3/5-1=x-5/4 ???
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve
[(x-3)/5]-1=[(x-5)/4]
---
Multiply thru by 20 to get:
4(x-3)-20 = 5(x-5)
---
4x-12-20 = 5x-25
x = -32+25
x = -7
