Question 423898: Let f(x)= -3x + 4 and g(x)= -x^2 + 4x + 1. Find the following: f(10) - g(10)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(10) - g(10)

(-3*10 + 4) - (-(10)^2 + 4*10 + 1)

(-3*10 + 4) - (-100 + 4*10 + 1)

(-30 + 4) - (-100 + 40 + 1)

-26 - (-59)

-26 + 59

33

So f(10) - g(10) = 33
