Question 42132: Rewrite into standard form (0,5), m=-3/5
Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First use the point-slope form
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 5 = (-3/5)(x - 0)
y - 5 = (-3/5)x
now multiply by 5 and get
5y - 25 = -3x
now rearrange and get the standard form
3x + 5y = 25
