a. Write a formula for the total cost,T, of a phone call lasting m minutes.
b. Using the formula,find the total cost of an 8-minute call?

m is the total minutes
(m - 3) is the minutes excluding the first three minutes
T = .80 + .20(m - 3)
With m = 8
T = .80 + .20(8 - 3)
T = .80 + 1.00
T = $1.80
answer
