Answer by praseenakos@yahoo.com(507)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5(t+1)+8=3(t-2)+6
distribute the parenthesis
==> 5t + 5 + 8 = 3t - 6 + 6

==> 5t + 13 = 3t
==> 5t + 13 - 13 = 3t - 13

==> 5t = 3t - 13

==> 5t - 3t = 3t - 13 - 3t

==> 2t = -13
