Question 41578: kx+3y=k-3
12x+ky=k
solve for k
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
kx+3y=k-3
12x+ky=k
solve for k
Taking each equation separately to get:
1st: kx+3y=k-3
kx-k=-3y-3
k(x-1)=-3(y-1)
k = -3(y-1)/(x-1)
2nd: k=12x+ky
k-ky=12x
k(1-y)=12x
k = 12x/(1-y)
