I know that the formula for the slope is M=y subscript 2 - y subscript 1, and x subscript 2 and x subscript 1 but I can't figure out the rest of the formula how do I calculate the rest of the problem. Please help. Thank you.

Find the slope of the line through the following points
(-5,-3) + (-5,2)
slope= [2--3]/[-5--5]= 5/0
This is undefined.
If you are supposed to find the equation of the line
passing through these two points I suggest you plot
the points and draw a line through them. You should
then see that the equation is x=-5
