When x number of units are sold, the price of each unit (in dollars) is given by p=-x/2 + 75. Find the unit price when the following quantities are sold. 2,7,9,11.
seeing as how x represents the quanitity of units sold, simply replace for x
2: p=-x/2+75 so p=-2/2+75, or -1+75, $74.
7: -7/2+75=-3.5+75 or 75-3.5=$71.5
9: -9/2+75=75-4.5=$70.5
11: -11/2+75=75-5.5=$69
