Question 393859: given the exponential function, f(x)=1.95(.75)^x what is the decay rate of this function?
Answer by pie90010(44) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the decay rate is 25%
to find the decay rate, just look at the number in the parenthesis
if the number is less than 1, it is decay, and you subtract that from 1
I.E ( 1 - .75 = .25 )
otherwise, if it's greater then 1, its exp. growth
