MOTION PROBLEM
Martina leaves home at 9am, bicycling at a rate of 24 mi/h. Two hours later, John leaves, driving at a rate of 48 mi/h. At what time will John catch up with Martina.
I know it's d=rt and I think it starts out like this
24x + 45(x-2)

PROOF 24*4=96 MILES FOR MARTINA & 2*48=96 FOR JOHN.
